Textbook Rental Frequently Asked Questions
Q: When do I have to return my books?
A: Spring rental books are due back by May 17, 2020. EXTENDED UNTIL JUNE 5, 2020!
Q: What if I forget to return my books?
A: If you don’t return your books on time, we’ll charge your securing credit card a replacement cost. At this point your rental becomes a purchase, which means you keep it.
Q: What if I decide I want to keep a book?
A: If you would like to convert a rented textbook to a purchase, please call 812-332-3306 for more information on the cost to convert.
Q: How do I return my rental book?
A: You can do this a couple of ways:
1. Return your rentals at our store – Rental returns can be made at our store at 1302 E. 3rd Street during the hours of 12-5 Monday through Saturday.
2. Ship your rentals – You can return your rentals via USPS/UPS. T.I.S. does not provide shipping labels. You must include your name, email, and phone number inside the package in order to get credit for your rental return. Please ship all returns to:

3. Convert to a purchase - Call T.I.S. to convert your rental to a purchase by paying the difference between the rental price and the purchase price. Call 812-332-3306 with your credit card information to complete a conversion.
